About us

Fourth Trimester is a D2C women's health brand rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine ("TCM").

For centuries, TCM has treated the weeks after childbirth as a distinct period requiring specific nourishment and care, a framework largely absent from Western postpartum practice. With the support of our advisors, who are licensed Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine practitioners, we translate that tradition into modern products for new mothers.

Founded by Harvard Business School graduates, Fourth Trimester is a small but fast-growing D2C startup. We're building the operational backbone to scale and support it.

The role

You'll work alongside the founders on the physical production and fulfilment of our products. This is hands-on operations work: you'll learn how a consumer product gets made and shipped.

• Location: Denver, Colorado (in person)
• Type: Contract, part-time
• Rate: $25/hour
• Hours: 10-20 hours per week (flexible)
• Start: August 2026

Primary responsibilities:

• Support production runs: ingredient prep, batching, packaging, and quality checks against our specifications
• Manage inventory: track raw materials and finished goods, flag reorder points, and conduct periodic counts
• Coordinate fulfilment: pick, pack, and dispatch customer and wholesale orders; liaise with couriers on delays or exceptions
• Assist with supplier and co-packer coordination: purchase orders, delivery scheduling, and receiving
• Improve how we work: identify bottlenecks in production and fulfilment and help implement process improvements and fixes

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled undergraduate student, based in Denver, CO and able to work on-site
• Curiosity about consumer products, women's health, or entrepreneurship
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with physical, hands-on work
• No prior operations experience required
