Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Four Points by Sheraton in Peoria, IL. This position is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive room revenue, group business, and corporate accounts. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting sales calls and site visits, preparing proposals and contracts, and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients. The Sales Manager collaborates closely with front office, revenue management, and operations teams to align sales efforts with hotel capacity, pricing, and service standards. The role also involves monitoring market trends, participating in networking events, and reporting on sales performance, forecasts, and opportunities to hotel leadership.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in sales planning, account management, and business development to grow corporate, group, and transient segments.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and customer service skills to secure and retain key clients.
  • Experience with CRM or hotel sales systems, and ability to analyze sales reports, revenue data, and market trends.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for internal collaboration and client-facing meetings.

  • Previous hotel, hospitality, or service-industry sales experience preferred; knowledge of local Peoria, IL market is an advantage.
