    Forte Group is scaling. As we move into our next phase of growth – focused on AI-driven delivery and outcome-based engineering – we are looking for a Vice President of Business Development to lead our new-logo expansion across North America. Position Overview We are seeking a high-impact, new-logo-focused Vice President of Business Development & Partnerships to lead Forte Group's next-generation growth motion.

    Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will shape and execute our go-to-market strategy for net-new client acquisition. We are looking for a market maker who understands that in an AI-first economy, value is derived from outcomes, intellectual property, and strategic architectural transformation, not just billable headcount. You will lead and grow a senior team of Business Development Directors while also personally orchestrating strategic sales pursuits and revenue outcomes.

    Success requires deep expertise in selling AI and data-driven digital engineering solutions, consulting, and custom software development across a range of delivery models – including managed services and outcome-based engagements. Key Responsibilities Own and scale Forte's new logo acquisition strategy, setting and hitting revenue targets. Pursue and close high-value enterprise opportunities, leading from the front.

    Engage confidently at the VP and CXO level, positioning Forte as a strategic AI transformation partner. 2. Build & Lead the BD Team Hire, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of Business Development Directors.

    Establish a modern outbound playbook that blends traditional enterprise sales with AI-enabled prospecting and GTM partnerships across Cloud, Data and AI platforms. Foster a culture of urgency, accountability, and execution excellence. Champion outcome-based and managed services engagement models across the team.

    Partner with the CEO and executive team to refine Forte's positioning, verticals, partnerships, and go-to-market approach. Collaborate with Marketing on targeted demand generation campaigns. Work with the Technology and Delivery teams to craft compelling, differentiated proposals.

    Bring structured market intelligence back to leadership to sharpen offerings and competitive strategy. Lead Forte toward value-based pricing models that decouple revenue from linear growth in headcount. 4.

    Drive Operational Excellence Own KPIs across pipeline activity, ACV, win rates, and sales cycle efficiency. Implement scalable sales operations, tooling, and AI-enabled workflow automation. Standardize deal reviews, pricing guardrails, and forecasting rigor.

    Partner with Account Management on seamless client handoffs to protect long-term retention. What We're Looking For Experience & Expertise 10+ years in business development or sales within digital engineering or technology consulting – strong interest in the AI market and the opportunities it opens up for Enterprise clients. Consultative approach to selling, an ability to engage senior client stakeholders to define their AI-enabled future.

    7+ years leading business development teams in an international setting. Proven experience selling AI-enabled solutions, custom software development, and engineering services delivered as managed services. Good grasp of modern tech stacks, cloud engineering, data, AI, and agile delivery.

    Track record of hiring, scaling, and coaching high-performing sales teams. Strong executive presence and communication skills. Thrives in fast-moving, scaling environments.
