A glazier fabricates, selects, cuts, installs, replaces, and removes commercial and artistic glass, aluminum storefront frames and entrances, glass handrails, curtain wall framing, terra-cotta/panel systems and entire building facades along with the window systems.
Position requires:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and acceptable insurability for regular business travel
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently, 80 bs. Occasionally. Activities with these weights include lifting products from horizontal to vertical positions, carrying product, stooping, bending and twisting
- Able to work at heights on ladders, scaffolding and aerial work platforms ie scissors / boom lifts
- Ability to work with common construction hand and power tools
- Comply with all Federal, state, local, and company safety policies
- Ability to read blueprints and take measurements with a tape measure
