Key Responsibilities

• Value Research: Diligently research current market and pricing trends for various categories of items sold by the shop.
• Product Tagging: Price all acceptable items as they are received and stage them clearly for runners to take out.
• Quality Inspection: Inspect all items received for quality and functionality to determine if they are fit to sell or should be discarded.
• Waste Disposal: Discard all broken or unacceptable items in the proper, designated manner to keep workspaces clutter-free.
• Product Preparation & Cleaning: Clean, dust, and sanitize all accepted merchandise to ensure items are presentable, hygienic, and ready for the sales floor.

Requirements

• Previous retail pricing, sorting, or product evaluation experience preferred.
• Strong research abilities with an eye for product brands, values, and trends.
• Decisive judgment and high integrity when assigning values to goods.
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift boxes of donations weighing up to 40 lbs.
