Job description

Fluid & Flow IV is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing mobile IV hydration and wellness company as a 1099 independent contractor.

We are looking for a professional, patient-focused NP who is interested in flexible, per-diem/event-based work and is passionate about wellness, preventative care, and providing a safe, elevated patient experience.

Position Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient health screenings and clinical evaluations prior to IV hydration and wellness services
  • Complete Good Faith Exams (GFEs) as required by our clinical protocols and applicable regulations
  • Review medical history, medications, allergies, vital signs, and contraindications
  • Determine whether a client is an appropriate candidate for IV hydration and wellness services
  • Obtain and review required informed consents and clinical documentation
  • Provide clinical oversight during Fluid & Flow IV pop-up events and wellness activations
  • Collaborate with our medical director/clinical leadership
  • Follow Fluid & Flow IV clinical protocols, safety standards, and documentation requirements
  • Recognize and appropriately respond to adverse reactions or changes in a client’s condition
  • Maintain a professional, welcoming, and patient-centered environment

Ideal Candidate

  • Active Massachusetts NP/APRN license
  • Current national NP certification appropriate to the patient population served
  • Experience in primary care, urgent care, aesthetics, IV hydration, wellness, or a related clinical setting preferred
  • Comfortable working independently within established clinical protocols
  • Strong assessment, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
  • Professional, reliable, and comfortable working at community events and pop-up locations
  • IV therapy/wellness experience is a plus but not required
  • IV experience is a plus but not required
  • Comfortable with IM injections
  • Must maintain all required professional licenses, certifications, and insurance
