Work Environment

You will be based in our inviting outpatient office, where we emphasize a warm and supportive atmosphere for both staff and patients. The typical work schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. As a member of our team, you will have access to various resources and support, including mentorship opportunities from senior therapists who have an average of over five years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, understanding their medical histories and goals to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize hands-on techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities (heat, ice, electrical stimulation) to enhance patients' recovery.
• Provide education on body mechanics, posture, and preventive strategies to empower patients in maintaining their health.
• Monitor progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies based on the patient's response to therapy.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to build an integrated approach to patient care, ensuring the best outcomes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of treatment sessions, progress notes, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient community includes individuals recovering from surgery, athletes dealing with sports-related injuries, and older adults facing mobility challenges due to age-related conditions. The diversity of our clientele allows for a rich array of experiences and learning opportunities, enabling our therapists to develop their skills across a broad spectrum of physical therapy practices.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited academic institution.
• A current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is preferred.
• At least one year of clinical experience treating a variety of conditions is required, with a strong foundation in evidence-based practices and techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Strong analytical skills for conducting evaluations and creating effective treatment strategies.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in advanced therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• Prior experience working in an outpatient setting is an advantage.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for accurate documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

Flex & Move Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience and performance. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
