Qualifications

• Must have a valid drivers licence.
• Must have a clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations, at-fault accidents.
• Pre-Employment Drug Screen required
• Dependable hard worker with 4-6 years of experience
• Must have your own hand tools
• Flexible work schedule
• Able to work overtime
• Able to work some saturdays

Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension components, and electrical systems across various heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and HVAC system servicing to maximize equipment lifespan.
• Service construction machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, trailers, and other industrial equipment to maintain operational readiness.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, and diagnostic logs to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational requirements.

Skills

• Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
• Skilled in equipment troubleshooting across diverse machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, construction machinery maintenance, and farm machinery.
• Expertise in diesel engine repair including engine diagnostics and overhaul procedures.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, air brake systems, suspension alignment, HVAC systems, transmissions, tire service, welding techniques, and general mechanical assembly.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators or cranes safely while performing maintenance or repairs.
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients or team members regarding repair needs or technical issues.
• Capable of performing heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during maintenance procedures.
• Basic computer skills. Ablity to update a Google spread sheet.
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
• Ability to effectively manage time and communicate with team on job status.
