Fish Cheeks is a vibrant restaurant located on the iconic Bond Street in NoHo serving contemporary Thai food with a focus on seafood.

Named for the lean, tender cheek meat that is considered the tastiest part of a fish and a delicacy in Asia, the critically-acclaimed and widely-beloved restaurant offers a menu of unabashedly intense, fresh and vivid dishes that span the diverse regions of Thailand.

Fish Cheeks is a deeply personal concept that celebrates the cultural heritage and the culinary artistry found in Bangkok and beyond. Brought together by team's shared desire to bring traditional Thai cuisine to NYC, the team decided to open Fish Cheeks, offering a menu that highlights the unfiltered flavors they craved from their upbringing in Thailand and re-creates the type of convivial and communal-style dining found across the country - from the street-stalls to fine-dining restaurants.

The Service Manager plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring consistency and excellence across every aspect of service. The ideal candidate thrives in high-volume, fast-paced environments, has a proven ability to develop and inspire teams, and leads with integrity, accountability, and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• • Maintain a working knowledge of all menu items offered in the restaurant, including basic ingredients, allergens, techniques, etc.
  • Oversees day-to-day FOH operations: opening the restaurant, service flow, table turns, section management, guest experience and hands-on leadership during service.
  • Maintain an understanding of the proper steps of service and consistently execute them with efficiency and grace while maintaining a sense of urgency throughout service.
  • Ensure constant communication with staff members, management and the kitchen as necessary at all times during service in order to serve guests.
  • Efficiently organize orders, manage cash and credit card transactions. Demonstrate speed and accuracy when using the POS system during service.
  • Maintain the space and service stations according to DOH standards, retaining a professional, clean appearance during all parts of service.
  • Demonstrates leadership; sets the example for all new members and can train and coach all members of the team.
  • Responsible for the opening and closing of the restaurant as it relates to the physical operations, as well as administrative tasks.
  • Responsible for all administrative tasks as they relate to tips and end of night reports.
  • Manage all delivery platforms and ensure items are up to date.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Department of Health standards and has an NY Food Protection Certificate.
