First Family Counseling

Responsibilities:
- Provide mental health counseling to adults and children who have been impacted by domestic violence. (perpetrators and survivors of DV)
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic records
- Collaborate with other professionals, to coordinate client care
- Utilize crisis management techniques to address urgent situations
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate treatment outcomes and make necessary adjustments
- Stay up-to-date with current diagnostic criteria, to ensure accurate diagnosis and

treatment planning
- Conduct child and family counseling sessions to address specific needs and challenges
- Utilize interviewing techniques to promote behavior change in clients

Experience:
- Proven experience in providing mental health counseling and therapy services
- Knowledge of principles and practices in a clinical setting
- Familiarity with group therapy dynamics and facilitation techniques
- Strong understanding of domestic violence and crisis intervention strategies and techniques
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and documentation
- Experience working with diverse populations and addressing cultural considerations

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health or related field
- Valid licensure or certification as a Clinical Therapist (Limited or Fully licensed)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish rapport with clients and create a safe therapeutic environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in complex situations
