Recruiting Senior Executives in the Global Financial Trading | FinTech | Blockchain | Crypto space

About the company:

The Company is a global multi-asset fintech business that delivers technology-driven trading solutions to a wide client base. It provides access to various financial instruments, including derivatives, equities, and futures.

They are looking for a Head of Operations. The position would be ideal for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and experienced operations leader with a strong background in clearing and balancing at a futures commission merchant (FCM).

• Overseeing end-to-end post-trade processes, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, clearing, and reconciliation
• Managing daily collateral activities and ensuring accurate, timely reporting of client balances, P&L, and trading positions
• Ensuring all operational procedures comply with industry regulations and overseeing the audit and regulatory exam processes
• Identifying and addressing operational risks in collaboration with legal, compliance, and risk teams
• Supporting the creation, maintenance, and execution of business continuity plans
• Leading client onboarding from an operations standpoint and resolving service-related inquiries
• Collaborating with internal tech teams to implement, upgrade, and maintain operational systems
• Driving automation efforts and process improvement across operational functions
• Leading and mentoring operations staff across various functions such as clearing, trade support, and reconciliation
• Setting performance benchmarks and conducting regular reviews for operational team members
• Managing external relationships with clearinghouses, exchanges, and vendors while ensuring service standards are met
• Should possess over 10 years of hands-on experience working with CME tools like FEC, EFS, ClearPort, CME Direct, and others
• Quite an acquaintance with clearing and balancing processes at an FCM with over a decade of industry exposure
• Must be skilled in leading operational teams with at least 5 years in management roles
• Ensure that you deliver a strong understanding of cross-department workflows and dependencies
• Ensuring quality projects are delivered within defined timelines, particularly around onboarding to new exchanges and clearinghouses like ICE EU or Nodal
• You are also expected to have worked with or have knowledge of back-office and middle-office systems such as ION, GMI, ATEO, or Lisa
