A team player who has the desire to learn about our in-house smoked, made from scratch recipes that wants to serve up Famous Food! Line Cooks ensure our Guests receive the Famous experience they expect from our food with each delicious bite. You'll also make sure that food safety standards are followed. Who we're looking for...
A team player who has the desire to learn about our in-house smoked, made from scratch recipes that wants to serve up Famous Food! Line Cooks ensure our Guests receive the Famous experience they expect from our food with each delicious bite. You'll also make sure that food safety standards are followed. - Previous Line Cook or cooking experience preferred
Skills/Competencies/Certifications:
- Ability to accurately read, interpret and prepare all food recipes within Famous Dave's guidelines
- Ability to prepare and present menu items within cook time requirements
- Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required. Must be able to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
- Must be able to read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by Guest and prepare and cook food according to instructions
- Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, smokers, ovens, stoves, and dishwashers
