Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of public spaces, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and event areas to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Conduct detailed floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet maintenance to ensure surfaces are spotless and safe for guests
• Assist with janitorial tasks by replenishing supplies, emptying trash bins, and maintaining storage areas in an organized manner
• Support hotel or facility operations by managing custodial equipment and ensuring all cleaning tools are properly maintained and stored
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to coordinate cleaning schedules and respond promptly to special requests or urgent cleaning needs
• Follow safety protocols during industrial cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for everyone
• Contribute to a positive guest experience by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere through diligent upkeep of public areas

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred
• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in industrial or commercial settings demonstrates strong cleaning skills
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including polishing, buffing, and carpet extraction enhances your ability to deliver exceptional results
• Experience in hotel or hospitality environments provides valuable insight into guest service standards
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and equipment operation is essential for maintaining a safe workspace
• Demonstrated ability to manage custodial tasks efficiently while adhering to strict cleanliness standards is highly desirable
• Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervising custodial teams is a plus but not required
