Role Description This full-time Insurance Agent role at FTC Agency is a hybrid position based in The Woodlands, TX, with flexibility for some work from home. The Insurance Agent will consult with prospective and existing clients to understand their coverage needs, present tailored insurance products, and assist in policy selection and enrollment. Daily responsibilities include generating and following up on leads, preparing quotes, explaining policy terms and conditions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. The role also involves maintaining client relationships through regular communication, handling policy changes and renewals, and coordinating with internal teams and carriers to resolve questions or issues. The Insurance Agent is expected to meet sales goals while providing thorough customer service and maintaining accurate records in agency systems.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance Brokerage, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Insurance products and coverage options, including the ability to explain policy features and benefits clearly.
• Candidates should possess foundational Finance skills to discuss premiums, deductibles, and basic financial implications of coverage choices.
• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to manage client inquiries and concerns professionally.
• State insurance licensing (or eligibility to obtain it promptly) is required; prior experience as an insurance agent or in a related financial services role is preferred.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, along with proficiency in standard office software and CRM or agency management systems, are beneficial.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, managing both in-office and remote responsibilities, and maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
