Where You’ll Make an Impact
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a trusted advisor and essential partner to leaders across the organization, playing a key role in shaping how the business grows.
You will:
- Help shape the people strategy behind Folklore's next phase of growth.
- Serve as a trusted thought partner to company leaders, bringing perspective, challenge, and solutions to key business decisions.
- Identify organizational bottlenecks, talent risks, and workforce trends—and develop practical solutions before they impact the business.
- Strengthen leadership capability by coaching managers to lead with greater accountability, confidence, and effectiveness.
- Design and implement people initiatives that improve retention, engagement, and organizational performance.
- Build scalable processes and programs that support a growing workforce without sacrificing culture.
- Lead complex employee relations and organizational challenges with sound judgment and a business-first mindset.
- Use data, observations, and business insight to influence decisions and drive measurable improvements across the organization.
Within your first year, you'll have:
- Built trusted partnerships with leaders across the organization
- Improved consistency and effectiveness in performance management practices
- Identified and implemented solutions to key workforce and retention challenges
- Helped leaders make better people decisions through data, coaching, and strategic insight

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in operational, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, construction, hospitality, or similar environments.
- Strong employee relations, performance management, and leadership coaching expertise.
- Working knowledge of California employment laws and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and drive positive organizational outcomes.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Experience supporting a growing organization.
- Leadership development and management training experience.
- Bilingual Spanish.
Compensation
Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000
Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to partner effectively with leaders, strengthen employee relations, and support organizational growth.
