We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our busy Los Angeles practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong dental assisting skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a radiology certification. Job Description
Greet patients warmly at check-in and manage arrival times professionally
Set up treatment rooms and ensure all equipment is prepared for dental procedures
Escort and seat patients, ensuring comfort and reassurance throughout their visit
Obtain and review patient health histories in accordance with office protocols
Assist the dentist by anticipating needs during treatments and procedures
Perform expanded functions and delegated clinical tasks as authorized
Mix dental materials and maintain readiness of supplies and instruments
Accurately chart patient visits, treatments performed, and charges
Escort patients after treatment and answer any questions or concerns they might have
Maintain and disinfect treatment rooms according to OSHA and sterilization guidelines
Sterilize instruments and handpieces meticulously to promote patient safety
Organize and stock trays, instruments, and supplies in treatment rooms
Monitor patient flow to maximize appointment efficiency
Send out and follow up on dental laboratory cases promptly
Maintain emergency kits, nitrous oxide, and oxygen tanks regularly
Follow laboratory and office protocols to ensure smooth operation and compliance
Demonstrate proper oral care instructions to patients as directed by the dentist
Salary Range
Part-time $19 - $24 per hour

Shift & Schedule
Monday: 10 AM – 7 PM
Tuesday: 10 AM – 6 PM
Wednesday: 10 AM – 6 PM
Thursday: Closed
Friday: 10 AM – 6 PM
Saturday & Sunday: Closed
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years’ dental assisting experience in a fast-paced dental office
Current Radiology Certification is mandatory
Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and dental assisting procedures
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and busy environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills
Familiarity with OSHA sterilization and infection control protocols
