Job description

Extreme Auto Design is seeking a skilled and motivated Accessory Technician to join our team. This individual will be primarily responsible for performing precision wheel alignments on a variety of vehicles, while also handling related suspension, steering, and tire services. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing 2-wheel and 4-wheel alignments using alignment equipment
  • Diagnosing steering and suspension alignment issues
  • Installing subwoofers and audio systems
  • Installing amplifiers and wiring
  • Lighting upgrades (LED, off road lights, etc)
  • Basic testing of wiring, mounting, and fitment of accessories
  • Installing grill guards, bumper guards
  • Installing running boards, lift kits, tool boxes, etc
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in automotive alignments or suspension/steering repair.

  • Proficiency in using computerized alignment equipment (e.g., Hunter, John Bean, etc.).

  • Understanding of vehicle suspension, steering, and wheel/tire systems.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • ASE Certification(s) a plus but not required.

  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.

  • Able to stand, bend, squat, and work in various positions throughout the day.

  • Comfortable working in a shop environment with occasional exposure to loud noises, dust, and chemicals.
