It is a small farm so you would work 30 to 60hrs a week. Great position for someone retired or looking for extra money. Manual driving a must. Job starts around September 12th!
Extended Labor Inc is a small staffing business in Normal, IL. We are professional, agile and fast-paced. This is a seasonal position helping a Farmer haul grain.
Retirees are welcome!
Must be dependable, hard working, and have a clean driving record. A drug test will be done prior to employment. Pay is based on experience.
Truck Driver
Duties:
- Load and unload materials or equipment using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely load and unload materials or equipment.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
- Ability to follow directions and adhere to schedules.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations on the road.
