Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and licensed Sales Producer to join our agency team. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and helping individuals and families secure the right insurance coverage for their needs.
The ideal candidate is competitive, organized, coachable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment. Prior insurance sales experience is preferred, but candidates with strong sales backgrounds and an active insurance license are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Generate and develop new business through inbound leads, referrals, networking, and outbound prospecting
- Quote and sell personal insurance products including home, auto, umbrella, and related coverages
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral partners
- Follow up consistently on leads and cross-selling opportunities
- Conduct policy reviews and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation and activity tracking within agency systems
- Meet individual sales goals and performance expectations
- Stay current on carrier guidelines, underwriting requirements, and insurance products
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required
- Previous insurance sales experience preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable with phone sales and follow-up activity
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment
- Experience with agency management systems and comparative rating tools is a plus
