You will become the primary service contact for approximately 20 small business clients, ranging from 2 to 50 employees, and will help their business owners, HR contacts, and employees navigate their health and employee benefit plans.

We are especially interested in experienced insurance professionals who want meaningful responsibility and client relationships while maintaining a consistent 20 to 30 hour workweek.

Direct employee benefits experience is strongly preferred, but it is not required. If you have a solid insurance background, an insurance license, exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a track record of taking care of clients, we are willing to teach the right person the employee benefits side of the business.

Who Is an Ideal Candidate?

Our ideal candidate is an experienced group health insurance or employee benefits professional who combines strong industry knowledge with exceptional client service, organization, attention to detail, and follow through. The right person takes ownership of client needs, communicates professionally, manages multiple priorities effectively, and enjoys solving problems from start to finish.

We are also open to highly accomplished client service or operations professionals with transferable experience who demonstrate these same qualities and have the ability and desire to learn group health benefits.

An interest in expanding into financial planning and paraplanning responsibilities is a plus. For the right person, this position has the potential to develop into a full time, fully benefited role within approximately 12 months as the position and firm continue to grow.
