THE ROLE
As Sales Manager, you'll own the performance and development of our Exterior Specialist team — the reps responsible for generating revenue through storm restoration sales. This is a player-coach role: you'll spend time in the field alongside your team, supporting high-value inspections and closes, while also driving strategy, training, and accountability from the top.
You'll report directly to company leadership and play a central role in shaping how Evolved scales its sales operation over the next several years.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, onboard, and develop Exterior Specialists to build a high-performing field sales team
Lead regular training sessions covering sales technique, product knowledge, and the insurance claims process
Motivate and hold the team accountable to individual and collective sales targets
Sales Strategy & Performance
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market presence in the St. Louis area
Monitor individual and team sales performance; deliver regular reports and actionable insights to leadership
Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Field Support & Customer Relationships
Join reps in the field for roof inspections, presentations, and closing high-value deals
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
Oversee timely payment collection upon job completion
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with the Production Manager and installation teams to ensure seamless project handoffs
Collaborate with marketing and customer service to support a consistent customer experience from first contact to project completion
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Proven track record in sales management — roofing, construction, or exterior restoration experience is a strong plus
Natural leader who earns respect through accountability, coachability, and results
Strong communicator and negotiator; equally comfortable in front of a homeowner or presenting to leadership
Strategic thinker who can translate data into decisions
Thrives in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment where the playbook is still being written
Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$65,000 base salary + team performance bonuses
