EveryStep is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the home setting. This role blends hands-on therapy, clinical expertise, and collaboration to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate patients and create personalized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Deliver direct occupational therapy care in patients' homes
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support patient goals
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercises
- Monitor progress and adjust plans of care as needed
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Supervise and support OTAs, students, and new staff as appropriate
- Build positive relationships with patients, caregivers, and referral partners
What You Bring
- BS, in Occupational Therapy
- Current Iowa OT license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Strong communication skills and a passion for serving diverse populations
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation
