Our founding team — ex-Facebook engineers and the leader of one of the nation’s largest sales organizations — built a platform that powers hundreds of insurance agents with real-time tools, automation, and insights. We move fast, solve complex problems, and bring a tech-first culture to an industry in dire need of modernization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Microservices & API Design: Architect, design, and implement RESTful and GraphQL services, defining clear API contracts, versioning strategies, and documentation.
• Database & Schema Management: Design and maintain relational database schemas, optimize queries and indexing strategies for performance, ensure backup, recovery, and data integrity processes, and collaborate with data teams on governance and modeling.
• Performance & Scalability: Optimize system performance using profiling, load testing, caching strategies, and autoscaling to meet high availability requirements.
• Infrastructure & Deployment: Manage provisioning and deployment processes using modern tools and best practices to ensure consistent, scalable, and reliable environments.
• Observability & Reliability: Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability.
• Secure Coding & Access Controls: Enforce secure coding practices, implement permission controls, manage authentication and authorization mechanisms, and adhere to secure development guidelines.
• Technical Leadership: Contribute to architecture and design reviews, conduct thorough code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and champion best practices and coding standards.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as a strong team player partnering closely with product, operations, sales, and executive teams; demonstrate outstanding communication to align stakeholders and deliver impactful solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment, with a proven track record of building and scaling production-grade systems.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and familiarity with modern web frameworks and RESTful APIs.
• Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, distributed systems, and performance optimization.
• Demonstrated leadership in code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentorship of junior engineers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to lead complex projects to completion.
