Job description

Position Overview

Enriching Lives Mental Health & Addictions Clinic is actively seeking a devoted and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our esteemed team. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to provide crucial mental health services to clients within a supportive and innovative remote setting, contributing positively to the health and well-being of diverse individuals seeking care.

About the Organization

At Enriching Lives Mental Health & Addictions Clinic, we are committed to enriching the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges and addictions. Located in Reno, Nevada, our clinic operates with a clear mission: to deliver high-quality, compassionate, and accessible mental health care. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates to create individualized care plans that not only address the psychological needs of clients but also empower them to forge healthier paths in their lives.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and the ability to connect with clients from the comfort of their own homes. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and trained support staff, all while utilizing established telehealth practices and technologies to provide seamless care. While the role offers the convenience of remote work, it also demands a strong commitment to maintaining a structured and professional virtual environment to facilitate effective therapy sessions and client interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate clients, considering their unique histories, current issues, and potential risk factors.
  • Formulate and implement tailored treatment plans in partnership with clients, focusing on strategies to foster emotional well-being and successful integration into their personal and social environments.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, to address a variety of mental health issues.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating dialogues that promote personal growth, emotional self-regulation, and the development of effective coping mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals to coordinate care, ensuring a holistic approach that addresses mental, emotional, and social dimensions of well-being.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary, employing de-escalation techniques and making referrals to higher levels of care as required.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health, treatment modalities, and available community resources to empower a deeper understanding and active participation in their care journey.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record systems to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through regular participation in team meetings, case reviews, and training opportunities to both share knowledge and learn from others.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in mental health laws and ethical practices to ensure adherence to industry standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma-related issues and addiction disorders. Our clinic values inclusivity and strives to meet each patient with empathy and understanding, tailoring our approaches to fit each individual's unique circumstances.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution required.
  • Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Nevada.
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, ideally within a mental health or educational setting, is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based practice, and trauma-informed care methodologies.
  • Experience in providing individual and group therapy, demonstrating an understanding of diverse therapeutic approaches.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
  • Competence in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer literacy to navigate necessary documentation systems.
Preferred Experience

Experience within a telehealth setting is a plus, as is familiarity with school-based mental health services. Candidates who have worked in interdisciplinary teams will find this environment highly collaborative.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; a retirement savings plan with employer matching; generous paid time off (PTO); professional liability insurance; and ongoing support for continuing education and professional development.

We believe in fostering the professional growth of our team members. Opportunities for advancement within our clinic are available, with pathways to leadership roles or specialization in areas of interest. Employees are encouraged to pursue additional certifications and training that align with personal and organizational goals.
