Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, providing flexibility in balancing professional responsibilities while working from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' diverse social, emotional, and environmental challenges, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their unique situations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor tailored service plans focusing on personalized goals and interventions that promote client wellbeing.
• Engage in individual and family counseling sessions, providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help clients overcome their challenges.
• Proactively connect clients with relevant community resources and services, facilitating their access to crucial support systems.
• Utilize crisis intervention techniques and conduct risk assessments to ensure client safety and well-being.
• Work collaboratively with community organizations to advocate for clients and coordinate services that effectively address their needs.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives to enhance awareness of our services and foster stronger community ties.
• Regularly engage in team meetings and case conferences, providing insights and updates on client progress while developing professionally through ongoing training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Empowerment Edge Counseling, you will be at the forefront of addressing the complex needs of a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing adverse challenges. This role is particularly focused on populations affected by issues such as mental health disorders, substance use disorders, domestic violence experiences, and socio-economic hardships. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving their quality of life and equipping them with skills to navigate their circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is required.
• Must hold an active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of trauma-informed care practices, social justice issues, and available community resources.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with cultural competence to engage effectively with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a social service agency or relevant setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with crisis intervention, case management, and evidence-based treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise, along with a potential sign-on bonus.
