Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to create personalized treatment plans that meet the individual needs of clients.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions across diverse modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Provide counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, tailoring sessions to address specific challenges and goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations, ensuring confidentiality and client trust.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive and holistic care to clients.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and trainings to stay current with advancements in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Emphatic Reach Counseling, you will address a diverse range of mental health issues among various populations. Our client focus includes individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship challenges. You will work both independently and as part of a team, using tailored therapeutic approaches to help clients navigate their emotional journeys effectively.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of two years experience providing counseling services in a clinical or therapeutic environment.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations relevant to the counseling profession.
