Position Overview
This role serves as a frontline leader across all Emoticare programming, including Residential, Respite, and Outpatient services. The position combines direct supervision of staff with hands-on support in care delivery, ensuring consistency in trauma-informed practices, regulatory compliance, and overall program quality. This leader plays a critical role in maintaining safe environments while supporting both staff development and client success.

Key Responsibilities
Provide daily leadership and oversight across multiple program settings
Ensure compliance with Emoticare policies as well as DHS, AHCCCS, and Joint Commission standards
Supervise, coach, and support Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs), Behavioral Health Paraprofessionals (BHPPs), and program staff
Lead shift debriefings, team meetings, and transition discussions to maintain continuity of care
Model and reinforce trauma-informed care practices in all staff and client interactions
Maintain appropriate professional boundaries in alignment with regulatory standards
Collaborate with clinical and case management teams to support individualized treatment and service plans
Complete accurate and timely documentation, including incident reports, progress notes, and service logs
Ensure safe, structured, and therapeutic environments across residential homes, respite centers, and outpatient settings
Monitor resident safety and consistently enforce program expectations and guidelines
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in a behavioral health, residential, respite, or group home setting
Direct experience working with adolescents in behavioral health or human services programs
Strong understanding and application of trauma-informed care practices
Familiarity with DHS, AHCCCS, and Joint Commission standards preferred
Experience training, mentoring, or supporting direct care staff preferred
High School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years of relevant experience
OR
Associateโs or Bachelorโs degree in Social Work or a related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience
Valid Arizona Driverโs License with an acceptable driving record
Must be at least 21 years of age to operate company-insured vehicles
Ability to pass all required pre-employment screenings, including TB test, drug screening, and fingerprint clearance
Maintain compliance with all required organizational trainings
