Job description

Emes Vision Center is a premier, Article 28-designated optometric private practice dedicated to delivering high-caliber medical eye care. Equipped with advanced diagnostic technology, our multi-specialty clinical environment prioritizes comprehensive patient care, disease co-management, and modern therapeutic options.
As we continue to grow, we are actively expanding our specialized clinical departments, specifically in pediatric eye care, myopia management, and vision therapy. We are seeking a compassionate, growth-minded Optometrist (OD) to join our team and play a key role in our expanding practice.
Key Responsibilities
 * Primary & Medical Eye Care: Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, refractive evaluations, and full-scope primary vision care for diverse patient populations.
 * Ocular Disease Management: Diagnose, treat, and manage ocular pathologies, with a primary focus on:
   * Dry Eye Disease (utilizing advanced therapeutic interventions)
   * Diabetic Eye Care & Retinopathy
   * Glaucoma Evaluation & Long-term Management
 * Pediatric & Specialty Care Expansion:
   * Perform pediatric eye exams and binocular vision assessments.
   * Assist in building and managing our expanding Myopia Management and Vision Therapy programs.
 * Diagnostic Imaging: Utilize and interpret advanced diagnostic modalities (OCT, Fundus Photography, Visual Fields, Corneal Topography, etc.).
 * Specialty Contact Lenses: (Optional/Preferred) Fit soft, gas permeable, and scleral lenses for specialty or medical needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
 * Education: Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited school or college of optometry (New/Recent Graduates & Residents are encouraged to apply!).
 * Licensure: Active (or pending) State Optometry License with therapeutic privileges.
 * Skills & Experience:
   * Strong foundation in medical optometry, binocular vision, or pediatric care.
   * Ocular Disease Residency or specialized externship training is a plus, but not required.
   * Excellent clinical communication skills and a team-oriented approach to patient care.
   * Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
