Blown-Film Extrusion Operator

Elite Extrusion Technology, a recognized leading supplier to the blown film industry; is looking for an experienced Blown-Film Extrusion Operator for 3rd Shift with a proven track record in supporting a fast-paced organization. Responsibilities:

• Identify and locate raw materials by reading and interpreting job orders
• Perform equipment setup and startups, bringing extrusion lines in and out of production.
• Make minor adjustments to settings, including web guide settings, tension settings, width settings, etc.
• Perform quality assurance functions
• Assist with minor maintenance
• All other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Experience in set-up and processing.
• Able to set up and operate extrusion lines.
• Well defined trouble shooting skills.
• Good math aptitude. Able to take and record measurements.
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent Safety and Attendance records.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding paperwork procedures and documentation.
• Familiarity with inventory procedures used in extrusion.
• Physically demanding position: long periods standing, bending, squatting, reaching and pulling. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work 12-hour shift.
• Helps ensure all policies for the company and the American Institute of Baking (AIB) are followed.
