Editorialist

• Write 3-4 trend and shopping stories per week within the Fashion vertical

• Support with photoshoots in the New York area, including sample coordination, correspondence with brand PRs, and on-set assisting 

• Attend key brand events alongside the Managing Editor 

• Sample coordination and correspondence with brand PRs

• Support editors with brand appointment scheduling and calendar management

• Organize and maintain team resource documentation, including brand and PR contacts

• File clean copy on time

• Assist with Managing Editor's calendar and scheduling

• You are a student or a recent graduate who wishes to grow in the fashion media space

• You are based in New York and available to co-work on a monthly basis

• You have previous experience in fashion or journalism

• You're nimble-you thrive while balancing competing deadlines and priorities

• You're precise-you're deadline-driven and detail-oriented

• You're creative-you're eager to contribute content ideas that facilitate our unique selling proposition 

• You're open-minded-you're willing to get things wrong sometimes, learn, and thrive as a team player

• If you have experience working in e-commerce, and/or love fashion or personal luxury goods

• You are a team player who is comfortable working across an organization that is growing while doing

• You communicate regularly and clearly with your co-workers and are never afraid to ask questions

$25/hour with a maximum of 20 hours per week. 3 month minimum with the opportunity for extension.
