Medical Assistant – Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $18 – 20 /hour

About the Role

EasyLink MD is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support our Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) program. This role is ideal for a healthcare professional who enjoys patient interaction, education, and care coordination while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients enrolled in RPM programs
• Build rapport and engage patients in their care through regular follow-up calls
• Support patients with RPM device setup, proper use, and basic troubleshooting
• Communicate patient concerns, symptoms, and readings to providers in a timely manner
• Escalate urgent issues appropriately and direct patients to emergency services when needed
• Accurately document all patient interactions in EasyLink MD while maintaining HIPAA compliance

What We’re Looking For

• Healthcare or clinical support experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Comfortable working with technology and electronic health systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications
• Patient-focused, organized, and collaborative

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of direct patient care experience (preferred)
• Medical Assistant (MA) certification
