Route Delivery
Position Summary:
To delivery product safely and efficiently. The Delivery Representative's primary duties include adherence to Company programs and policies that will result in the safe execution of timely delivery, maximized sales and minimized returns. To provide customers with reliable and efficient delivery of all brands and packages carried by Eagle Distributing Company and to follow the specific guidelines developed by Eagle Distributing concerning the delivery of all products.
The job environment is structured, and job expectations are well defined, supported by job training and on the job experience. While the pace of the work is faster than average, the timeliness and quality of results is never compromised. An active, positive response to a variety of challenges and time pressures is also required. The nature of the work requires quick decision-making, based on knowledge of pertinent information and an intention to reduce risk factors as much as possible.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid class A CDL
21 years or older
Current DOT medical card
HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:
Operating trucks requiring a CDL license (e.g., performing basic functions like driving forwards, driving backwards, maneuvering in tight spaces, etc.)
Merchandising products (e.g., filling shelves, building displays, making products look attractive on shelves, rotating product, cleaning shelves, or eliminating out of stocks and out of date products, etc.)
Operating equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks, breakdowns, etc.)
