  • Develop a cost-effective plan and schedule for project completion following a logical sequence to meet scheduled completion dates.
  • Track and maintain the construction schedule to ensure completion within the allocated time and budget.
  • Regularly review and understand all contract documents (plans, specifications, testing requirements, as- built requirements, close-out requirements, etc.) and ensure all EMJ team members and subcontractors have the most current documents and shop drawings.
  • Oversee, conduct, and document weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors as necessary.
  • Accurately and timely prepare daily reports and field documentation, including jobsite photos.
  • Set performance expectations for EMJ team members and subcontractors, delegate work appropriately, and hold team members accountable.
  • Issue Field Work Orders and Notices of Non-Conformance as required.
  • Conduct First Work Inspections.
  • Routinely inspect work in progress to ensure quality standards are being met.
  • Schedule, log, and track testing and inspections.
  • Oversee safety regulations and procedures on site.
  • Correct any safety violations promptly.
  • Lead weekly safety meetings with all subcontractors.
  • Ensure the jobsite is maintained in a clean, safe, and secure condition at all times.
What You Will Need For This Role:
  • 5–15 years of experience supervising all phases of ground-up commercial construction projects ranging from $10M–$30M in value.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Required certifications/licenses: OSHA 30-hour minimum, First Aid/CPR, Certified Competent Person (Fall Protection, Scaffolding, and Trenching).
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
  • • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Goal-oriented with strong execution discipline.
  • Ability to identify, investigate, and quantify onsite issues, including resolutions and impacts.
  • Willingness and ability to relocate to assigned job sites.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and perform physical fieldwork including stooping, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn SharePoint, Procore, and Phoenix Scheduling Software.
