Echelon Services (Echelon) is seeking a Program Administrative Assistant to provide services including answering basic program inquires via email and phone, creation and dissemination of program mass communications, data entry, review and briefing of program applications and supporting documentation. The TIP Program Assistant may be required to work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials at the direction of the TIP Program Office Staff and reviewed for compliance with regulations and effectiveness in achieving intended objectives.

• Type and track correspondence, reports, and tabular data from drafts provided by professional personnel, editing for spelling, punctuation and grammar, as well as ensuring formats are in compliance with the Department of the Navy.
• Communicate messages, answer telephones, take and forward messages, as well as assist staff with follow- up phone calls on outstanding documents/actions.
• Duplicate, collate, assemble, and maintain materials.
• Coordinate and monitor meetings, appointments, schedules, and facilities as requested, as well as provide direct support for presentations, conferences, events, and other meetings as requested.
• Maintain hard copy, electronic filing, and record keeping systems to facilitate retrieval and historical record maintenance as required by the client or other pertinent entities.
• Maintain a filing and management system in accordance with Navy standards. Ensure that classified information arriving in the office is correctly accounted for and stored in an appropriate location.
• Prepare entries and input, track and monitor data for inclusion in various information systems, for both agency-specific systems.
• Understand and follow administrative protocols followed by staff within the work group. Orders.
• Perform evacuation responsibilities as a result of fire or other natural disasters.

• Strong writing skills, ability to perform entry level program analysis, organizational skills, database and system administration, and intermediate skills in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Publisher)
• A Bachelors Degree is desired; Five (5) years of additional experience in lieu of degree
• Must Possess Active Secret Clearance.
