Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Line Cook role located in Philadelphia, PA. The Line Cook prepares and cooks menu items according to standardized recipes, ensures food quality and presentation, and maintains a clean, organized workstation throughout service. Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down the line, stocking and rotating ingredients, following safety and sanitation guidelines, and coordinating with other kitchen team members to ensure timely and accurate orders. The Line Cook may assist with prep work, support inventory and waste control, and contribute ideas to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications

• Experience with basic and intermediate cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, frying, and baking in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to follow recipes, portion standards, and plating guidelines while maintaining consistent quality and presentation.
• Knowledge of kitchen safety, food handling, and sanitation practices, including proper storage, labeling, and cleaning procedures.
• Strong time management, organization, and teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and work effectively during peak service.
• Prior experience as a Line Cook or in a similar back-of-house role in a restaurant setting is preferred.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, with reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry supplies, and work in a high-heat environment.
• Interest in American Contemporary cuisine and willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative kitchen team.
