Job description

Description The Slot Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all gaming devices for Dotty's locations. This includes all gaming machines, cash dispensers, and vaults. Additional tasks will be assigned as necessary. Requirements The Slot Technician is required to:

  • Respond to machine and dispenser calls in a timely matter
  • Prioritize calls according to urgency and current location
  • Communicate with dispatchers and other techs to efficiently manage open calls of all types
  • Troubleshoots gaming devices, and make repairs as needed
  • Address money needs in conjunction with management
  • Manage the inventory of the route van to ensure parts are available when repairs are needed
  • Interact with bartenders, management, and customers to solve gaming disputes as they arise
  • Complete all necessary documentation for device entry and vault logs
  • Keep slot vehicle clean and in good condition
  • Perform preventative maintenance on slot machines
  • Adhere to all standards of company dress code. Adhere to company timekeeping standards
  • Comply with all company safety standards and practices
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Troubleshooting ability
  • General knowledge of slot machines and peripheral devices preferred
  • Computer and electronics background preferred
  • Electrical wiring and hand tool experience preferred
  • Money handling experience
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean and current DMV printout
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
