Job Summary:
Dome Systems is an innovative company focused on building AI-native engineering solutions. The Product Engineer will own outcomes by developing reliable backend services, infrastructure integrations, and APIs while working directly with customers to refine products based on their needs.
Responsibilities:
• You will build the platform that enterprises trust to manage their agentic systems.
• This means designing and shipping backend services, infrastructure integrations, and APIs that work reliably at scale.
• You will own features from conception through deployment, working directly with customers to understand what they need and iterating until the product delivers.
• You will contribute to a platform that must be correct, observable, and delightful to operate.
• You will help establish the technical foundations and engineering culture of a company in its earliest stages.
Qualifications:
Required:
• You have built and shipped distributed systems or infrastructure software in production.
• You write Go fluently and can design services that are reliable and maintainable.
• You have experience with Kubernetes, whether building controllers, operating clusters, or deploying software into complex environments.
• You understand API design and data modeling for systems that must evolve gracefully.
• You have internalized an AI-native development workflow and can demonstrate the productivity gains it enables.
• You use AI tools to specify, build, and validate, not as occasional assistants but as core to how you deliver.
• You have opinions on how software should be built and can defend them while remaining open to being wrong.
• You communicate clearly and work effectively with customers, founders, and other engineers.
