Saint Francis Veterinary Specialty and Emergency is looking for a Full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

Our progressive compensation model is designed to reward your impact, offering a competitive base salary alongside production opportunities—with no negative accrual.

You’ll provide emergency care for sick and injured patients while also managing hospitalized cases. You’ll assess and diagnose patients, develop and oversee treatment plans, and partner closely with technicians to ensure high-quality execution of care. Your work will include performing surgeries, delivering critical care, and maintaining an exceptional standard of service for every patient who enters our emergency department.

At Saint Francis Veterinary Specialists, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, you will have the support, tools, and resources to elevate your skills. Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience, with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $180K/year. The actual salary offered will be carefully considered based on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Your Experience & Skills

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required
• State Veterinary Board License:
  • Active and in good standing for the state of intended employment
  • Obtained prior to start date
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
• Experience in emergency medicine or completion of small animal rotating or emergency internships is highly recommended
