Job Summary:
The Shift Manager at Arby’s is responsible for overseeing restaurant operations during their assigned shifts. This role includes leading the team, ensuring high-quality customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and assisting with daily operations. Shift Managers help create a positive work environment and support the General Manager in running a successful restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership amp; Team Management: Supervise team members, provide coaching, and ensure smooth shift operations.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and address customer concerns promptly.
  • Food Quality amp; Safety: Ensure all food is prepared according to company standards and health regulations.
  • Shift Operations: Manage cash handling, inventory, and food preparation during the shift.
  • Training amp; Development: Assist in training new team members and reinforcing company policies.
  • Problem-Solving: Handle unexpected challenges and ensure quick, effective resolutions.
  • Opening amp; Closing Procedures: Oversee setup or shutdown of the restaurant, including cleaning and securing the premises.
Qualifications amp; Skills:
  • Previous restaurant or leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and ability to motivate a team.
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills.
