The CNA & PCA Caregiver provides essential support and care to patients primarily in a home care setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health conditions, and delivering compassionate emotional support. Regular weekend and holiday shifts are required, with a typical patient-to-caregiver ratio of 1:3.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including hygiene support and mobility assistance
• Assist with medication management under supervision
• Support patient communication and emotional needs
• Monitor patient safety and report any concerns promptly
• Help with meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Maintain a safe and clean care environment
• Coordinate care with other healthcare team members
• Work weekend and holiday shifts as scheduled

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in patient care
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Patient hygiene assistance skills
• Strong communication abilities
• Empathy and compassion for patients
• Good time management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
