Job description

DermaSensor is seeking a motivated Summer Intern to support our growing Customer Success function. This temporary role is ideal for an undergraduate or graduate student interested in healthcare, medical devices, digital health, AI-enabled solutions, clinical operations, customer success, or healthcare commercialization. The intern will support customer onboarding, implementation readiness, training materials, customer follow-up and CRM system documentation. This role will provide hands-on exposure to a high-growth medical device company and the opportunity to contribute to programs that help healthcare providers successfully adopt and utilize an FDA-cleared AI-powered solution. This is a support role and is not expected to independently lead clinical education, provide clinical guidance, or serve as a clinical subject matter expert. The intern will work under the direction of Director of Customer Success.

Description
What You'll Do
• Support Director, Customer Success with customer onboarding preparation, implementation tracking, and follow-up coordination.
• Assist in organizing customer implementation plans, onboarding checklists, training schedules, and account documentation.
• Help prepare customer-facing materials, including onboarding guides, implementation trackers, how-to resources, workflow support documents, and FAQ materials.
• Support development and organization of clinical education resources, video tutorials, implementation guides, and best-practice blueprints in partnership with Customer Success, Marketing, and Commercial leadership.
• Assist with tracking customer adoption, utilization, onboarding completion, and customer engagement activity in HubSpot CRM system.
• Help identify customers that may need follow-up based on onboarding status, utilization trends, missing documentation, or upcoming trial milestones.
• Support voice-of-customer efforts by organizing feedback, documenting customer themes, and helping identify provider or practice success stories.
• Assist with internal reporting, dashboards, meeting notes, customer summaries, and weekly Customer Success updates.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Operations to support successful customer implementations.
What We're Looking For
• Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in healthcare, life sciences, nursing, public health, healthcare administration, business, biomedical engineering, health technology, or a related field.
• Strong interest in healthcare innovation, medical devices, AI-enabled clinical solutions, digital health, or customer success.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage growth environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to help create polished customer-facing materials and internal tracking tools.
• Comfortable learning new systems such as HubSpot CRM system
• Ability to handle confidential customer and business information professionally.
• Self-starter with a collaborative, service-oriented mindset.
Duration
Summer 2026 internship, with exact start and end dates to be determined based on candidate availability and business needs.
Compensation
This internship may be structured for academic credit or hourly compensation depending on the candidate's academic program, experience level, availability and scope of responsibilities. DermaSensor is open to working with students seeking meaningful hands-on experience in healthcare innovation, medical technology, customer success and AI-enabled clinical solutions. Hourly compensation may be available for highly qualified candidates.
