Introduction

We are seeking a talented Java Full Stack Developer to join our team in Vienna, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, and cloud technologies like AWS. You will work on developing and maintaining applications that are crucial to our business operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software solutions using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement Microservices and REST APIs.
• Create user-friendly interfaces using Angular and/or React.
• Utilize AWS cloud technologies to build scalable and reliable applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Follow Agile methodologies to deliver software on time and with high quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain application performance.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience developing Microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong experience with Angular and/or React.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully onsite environment in Vienna, VA.
• Experience with Java 17 or newer.
• Experience with Spring Cloud and distributed systems.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS EKS/ECS and serverless technologies.
• Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS/SNS.
• Experience with API Gateway and cloud-native application architecture.
• Experience with automated testing and Test-Driven Development.
• Knowledge of application security, OAuth2, JWT, and authentication/authorization frameworks.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise or financial-services environments.
