Position Summary

Delmarva Collections is seeking a motivated Collections Specialist to recover past-due accounts while providing professional customer service and maintaining compliance with all applicable collection laws.

Responsibilities

• Contact consumers and businesses regarding outstanding accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements.
• Process payments and update account records.
• Follow up on payment commitments.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Comply with FDCPA, FCRA, and company policies.
• Meet daily activity and monthly collection goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service, collections, sales, or call center experience preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Professional, dependable, and goal-oriented.
