Schedule: Full-Time | Tuesday–Saturday | Daytime Hours

About the Role

Deerfield Supportive Living is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Janitor to join our team.

Our housekeeping team plays an important role in creating a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, visitors, and team members. In this position, you will help maintain resident and community spaces while providing friendly and respectful service to those who call Deerfield Supportive Living home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, restrooms, dining areas, resident spaces, and other community areas

  • Perform routine cleaning, sanitizing, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and other housekeeping duties

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the community

  • Properly use, store, and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment

  • Monitor inventory of housekeeping supplies and communicate when additional supplies are needed

  • Identify and report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to the appropriate team member

  • Assist with resident move-ins and move-outs as needed

  • Follow established infection control, safety, and cleaning procedures

  • Provide friendly, respectful, and professional service to residents, families, visitors, and team members

  • Assist with additional housekeeping or janitorial duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred

  • Senior living, healthcare, or hospitality experience is a plus

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position

  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment

  • Strong attention to detail and time-management skills

  • Dependable, organized, and committed to maintaining a clean and welcoming community

  • Ability to work Tuesday–Saturday during daytime hours
