Role Overview
The client is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead enterprise-level application and integration architecture initiatives across cloud-native, hybrid, and SaaS environments. The role involves designing scalable enterprise solutions, defining system integrations, collaborating with Agile/Scrum teams, and supporting strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives. This position is based in Mechanicsville, and the job is open to candidates within a 100-mile radius of the location.

Key Responsibilities
• Create enterprise application and solution architectures, component designs, and system integrations
• Lead architecture planning, documentation, estimation, and implementation activities for enterprise applications
• Capture requirements for workflows, data processes, infrastructure environments, interfaces, and controls
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Produce technical design artifacts including logical/physical architectures, sequence diagrams, and data models
• Ensure new systems integrate effectively with existing applications and SaaS/COTS platforms
• Analyze solution feasibility, compatibility, and infrastructure requirements
• Partner with Enterprise Architects and business stakeholders to define technology strategies and roadmaps
• Design and implement enterprise security and technology architecture patterns
• Provide architecture guidance and modernization recommendations for legacy systems
