Ignite Your Passion for Science: Become a Crucial Part of Our Diagnostic Family in a Thriving Dallas Setting
Overview
We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic Clinical Laboratory Technician who embodies a passion for science and a commitment to precise healthcare delivery. In this full-time, daytime position at an established hospital within the vibrant Dallas area, you will play a pivotal role in producing critical diagnostic outcomes. Collaborate with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, all supported by an attractive rewards package focused on your career growth and personal well-being.
Description - Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct both routine and sophisticated laboratory tests across various disciplines including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to proven protocols.
  • Evaluate test results for precision, resolve issues effectively, and ensure that laboratory instruments are well-maintained and calibrated.
  • Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for comprehensive testing as required.
  • Meticulously document laboratory procedures, mentor new team members or students, and maintain high standards of lab quality.
  • Ensure a hygienic and secure workspace, while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
Education
  • A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree complemented by ASCP/AMT certification eligibility.
Certifications
  • ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of commencement.
  • Ongoing commitment to maintain certification throughout your tenure.
Skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration within diverse healthcare teams.
  • Demonstrated independent judgment and problem-solving skills in dynamic situations.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with keen attention to detail, especially in quality control processes.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary based on prior experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • Generous vacation and leave policy beginning from day one, along with potential vacation/holiday credit for experienced hires.
  • Opportunities for continuing education and support for professional development.
  • A comprehensive rewards strategy that prioritizes your holistic wellness.

Making a Difference One Sample at a Time
Your work in the lab is crucial for guiding clinical decisions and enhancing patient outcomes. A single test could clarify an infection or demonstrate a vital metabolic change before symptoms emerge. Your meticulous approach is what enables clinicians, patients, and care teams to rely on the accuracy of laboratory results day in and day out.
A Collaborative and Supportive Environment
In this role, you'll discover a community rooted in collaboration and continuous improvement. Engage in seasonal team meetings, regular skill refreshers, and initiatives aimed at refining laboratory processes, ensuring that your insights are valued. There are abundant opportunities for you to contribute to committees, offer process improvements, and guide newer colleagues through their journey in the lab.
Life in the Energetic City of Dallas
Imagine residing in a vibrant Dallas neighborhood where lively streets buzz with diverse culture and community engagement. Picture weekends spent exploring local art galleries, savoring culinary delights at renowned eateries, or enjoying the excitement of sports events. When it comes to leisure, Dallas' parks provide the perfect backdrop for picnics and outdoor concerts, surrounded by flourishing local organizations that promote a sense of belonging and camaraderie.
From unique boutiques to sprawling bike trails, the city has something for everyone-whether it's a quiet morning coffee by the lake or a lively evening at a theater. Thanks to a well-connected transit system, commuting is more convenient than ever. Housing remains affordable compared to larger urban centers, allowing you to enjoy a comfortable lifestyle filled with exploration and adventure, whether that's road trips, wine festivals, or local live music.
Creating Meaningful Change, Together
In this thriving community, every member of the lab staff is considered an essential contributor to public health. Your work here will generate ripples of positive change: faster diagnoses, superior patient care, and enhanced operational efficiency. The gratitude expressed through letters and messages will reinforce the impact of your role in providing timely and accurate healthcare solutions.
Your Future Awaits - Step Into a Rewarding Opportunity
If you are looking for more than just a pay stub-if you seek purpose, growth, and community connection-then you've found the right place. Whether you are new to the profession or have a wealth of experience behind you, you'll discover a supportive environment filled with opportunities to challenge yourself and thrive.
Are You Ready to Begin Your Next Adventure?
Embrace a career where your precision meets a community that cherishes innovation, collaboration, and compassion-a setting where every lab result tells a tale of healing. If you're excited to immerse yourself in a role that values your expertise, lets us guide the future of healthcare's success together. We are eager to connect with you.
Apply now and be a part of a movement where science intersects with humanity to save lives-where your contributions count just as much as the data.
