Our focus is on providing a calm, home-like environment for dogs with social insecurities, anxieties, and non-communicable health issues.



Job Description: We are seeking energetic, responsible, and experienced Dog Attendants to join our team. As a Dog Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of all dogs through effective management, sanitation, medication administration, interactive play, and safety protocols, while maintaining clear communication with pet owners and fellow staff members. Your role will require full attention to dog safety and involve all aspects of daycare and boarding, from care and cleaning to customer interaction. This dynamic and rewarding position will keep you active and engaged.


Responsibilities:

  • Receive dogs at drop-off and return them to their families at pick-up.
  • Maintain a clean playroom, including scrubbing and sanitizing crates regularly.
  • Keep the backyard clean according to our sanitation protocols, promptly collecting waste.
  • Administer medications: topical, oral, and subcutaneous injections (training provided).
  • Handle several dogs effectively.
  • Check dogs in and out using our online system daily.
  • Feed, snack, and water dogs as per schedule.
  • Rotate dogs as needed.
  • Handle dogs of all breeds and sizes.
  • Play and interact lovingly and patiently with dogs during playgroups.
  • Maintain a safe and fun environment for daycare and boarding.
  • Redirect dogs and intervene as needed before any escalation or confrontation occurs.
  • Any other tasks as assigned.


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must LOVE dogs and treat them with great care, compassion, and respect.
  • Veterinary or dog handling experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right individuals.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of dog health and behavior (e.g., play vs. aggression).
  • Attention to detail and ability to understand and interpret detailed instructions.
  • Experience in multitasking and handling a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable being active and on your feet.
  • Physically able to clean, handle large, strong dogs, and pick up after them.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must work with both small and large dogs, and all breeds.
  • Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a minimum 8–10-hour day.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Great memory retention.
  • Reliability, dependability, and punctuality are crucial. If you are not 5 minutes early, you are late.


Schedule:

  • Must be flexible to work various shifts.
  • Weekends, holidays and overnight stays will be scheduled on a rotation.
  • Weekends, holidays, overnights required.
