Driver Non CDL Opportunity in Des Plaines, IL
We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and eager Driver Non CDL in Des Plaines, IL!
We have a passion for hospitality culinary delights on every elevated floor and in the sky. With our three business segments, Airline Catering, International Event Catering, Restaurants, Lounges & Hotels, we offer gourmet entertainment all over the world. We operate in 33 locations, 12 countries and 3 Continents, maintaining the highest standard of quality in both our products and services. We refine the classics, develop the unknown and grow constantly – sometimes beyond our own expectations.
Responsibilities- Transport of meals, meal carts, and any equipment needed between the DO & CO Facilities and third party vendors, and the airport.
- Load/unload aircraft according to DO & CO and airline regulations, specifications and equipment handling.
- Ensure flights are catered correctly at all times. Cater to DO & CO's client's airlines and handle airlines equipment expeditiously and safely
- Ensure all vehicles are maintained in full working condition (including fueling and pre/post checks) and reports any vehicle irregularities to dispatch immediately.
- Comply with all applicable rules/regulations. Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team.
- Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must have Class C Drivers License
- Requirements necessary to obtain airport ID
- Must Pass a criminal background check
- Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise
- Majority of duties performed outside in all weather conditions
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five (75) pounds
- Must be able to work at heights up to 20-25 feet
- Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
- Communicate effectively with team members, make sure communication is clear and understood by co-workers
- Competitive Pay $23-$24
