Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) interventions, guiding clients through techniques that promote self-awareness and emotional regulation.
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients to identify unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, subsequently tailoring mindfulness practices to fit each individual.
  • Lead clients through various mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques designed to cultivate emotional balance and reduce anxiety.
  • Develop and facilitate group workshops focusing on mindfulness techniques, stress management strategies, and resilience-building practices to support community mental health.
  • Integrate mindfulness practices into individual therapy sessions, addressing the specific mental health concerns needs of clients while aiming for comprehensive personal growth.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to treatment, enhancing overall client outcomes.
  • Maintain meticulous records that capture client progress, mindfulness interventions, and treatment plans in accordance with established protocols.
  • Commit to ongoing personal mindfulness practice, self-reflection, and professional development to strengthen your expertise in MBSR methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California is required.
  • Extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) methodologies is preferred, showcasing your ability to effectively integrate mindfulness into therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

DFSI Health & Rehabilitation Center offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
