We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Asphalt Raker to join our paving crew. The asphalt raker plays a critical role in driveway, road, and parking lot projects by leveling, smoothing, and shaping hot asphalt to ensure a high-quality finish. This position requires physical endurance, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in outdoor environments. Pay starts at $30/hour

Asphalt experience is required!

Responsibilities

• Spread, level, and smooth hot asphalt using rakes, lutes, and other hand tools
• Assist with asphalt paving operations, including shoveling and hand-finishing
• Work alongside paving machine operators and roller operators to achieve proper compaction and grade
• Ensure proper depth, slope, and drainage requirements are met
• Monitor asphalt consistency and report any issues to the foreman
• Follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE
• Perform general labor duties as needed on the job site

Qualifications

• Previous experience in asphalt paving is required
• Ability to work in high-temperature conditions around hot asphalt
• Physically able to life 50+ lbs and perform repetitive movements
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required

We are looking for sealcoat laborers! No experience required, willing to train! Pay starts at $18/hour

Must have reliable transportation

Willing to work overtime and some Saturdays

Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers and supervisors with other duties as required.
